Do you ever feel like you’ve spent most of your life on one of these? You’ve been going around and around, and initially the ride was quite thrilling. Then, after a few revolutions, you start to realize that the view never changes, and that if you look down you start to feel a little dizzy?

Yeah, so have I.

Every time I see a calf, I always feel guilty about eating meat. I don’t eat veal – not that eating beef is any better – but it’s the denial that makes it possible for me to sleep at night. You can find this and other photos from the PNE on my Recent Photos page.
