Could it be? Could all my whining about the sorry state of Apple’s product releases in Canada have had an effect (not bloody likely)? First it was the news that the iPhone would soon be available to Canadian customers, and now, thanks to iLounge, we find out that Canadian Apple customers will soon be able to download movies via the iTunes store.
Finally, that video iPod of mine might actually be useful.
I’ve seen a lot of interesting videos and quite a few compelling photographs over the years, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this before:
Predictably, most widgets for OS X’s Dashbord are US-centric, so imagine my great pleasure over stumbling across Fandango’s movie widget for Leopard.
You get a gorgeous rotating display of movie posters right on your dashboard. After you configure it for your location (Vancouver, yay!), you’ll only see posters for films that are playing in your area.
