Earlier tonight I discovered a cheap little gem of an application called Toycamera Analogcolor. If you enjoy the look of toy camera photography, Polaroids, or photos shot on expired film, but you prefer the ease of digital photography and don’t want the hassle of developing your own prints, you’ll probably get a lot of mileage out of this application.
Toycamera Analogcolor interface
The interface couldn’t be easier to use: you simply drag a photo from your hard drive onto the application and watch as the fun develops. If you’d like a bit more control, you can manually adjust the output, but if you’re not a photo tweaker, you can simply select from the nine presets that come bundled with the application. And at $10, it’s a steal.
A few examples appear below.
