Coverflow at PBS Online

I’ve been a fan of PBS ever since I was a small child*. I can even remember applying for an internship at their nascent web department back in 1993, so I suppose you could say I find the PBS Kool-Aid particularly refreshing. I suppose it should be no surprise then that I’m completely enamoured of how they’re using the Coverflow/carousel interaction to display their online video content:

Not only can you navigate from left to right to view different shows, but you can navigate within each program to select individual episodes. Very nicely done, PBS.

* Thanks to a daily diet of Sesame Street, I started reading at age 3. If you’ve known me for a long time, you’re probably tired of hearing that story, so that’s all I’ll say about it except to say YAY! PBS.
