I'm so happy it has that I can't for the life of me remember why exactly I held on so hard to more limiting definitions. I still have a hard time explaining "friends" to my BFF who is not online in these ways and has no idea who I'm talking about. It's a little weird to her still. When I'm explaining online life to non-online folks, I often use the example of the day your couch was delivered as a happy moment of being aware of the daily minutiae of strangers' (but not quite) lives. This whole thing seems v. generous to me in ways I can't quite articulate. Anyhoo, you all look awesome in the pic above!
