While sitting at the desk after Toddler Storytime the other day, watching some very … willful … children exercise their will, one of the librarians said “White people, please beat your kids” under her breath. Â She, like me, is an immigrant, and had the experience of ass whuppin’s handed out freely and often as a means of correction. Â This clip from Canadian Comedian Russell Peters is the source of that quote, and is well worth watching.
