File under “I” for “inspired”

Sometimes a website comes along and just blows the theoretical underpinnings of information architecture out of the water. Miranda July’s site for her book No One Belongs Here More Than You is one such site. The navigation’s poorly placed, the site would probably take ages to load over a dial up connection, but so what? It’s brilliant and compelling storytelling - so much so that I’m actually thinking of buying the book.

Now that’s a successful website, IA be damned.
