What are rich people watching on television? - The highest-rated television shows among America’s wealthier viewers are The Office, 30 Rock, What About Brian, Lost, Friday Night Lights (yay!), Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Of those, only Housewives and Grey’s get decent ratings. Researchers also found that the median income for ABC viewers is around $64,000, while the income for CW viewers is $45K.
